ABC4Maddy was created to fund programming dedicated to helping children who are fighting childhood cancer. The foundation honors the memory of Maddy, a student in the same school district where I teach. Maddy was diagnosed with Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia at the age of 6, and three short years later, she entered the gates of Heaven.

Adam and I both have our own reasons to actively work against cancer, his dad, my mom, grandparents, an aunt, and far too many students, friends, and colleagues along the way. When I found out a former student of mine is now facing their own leukemia diagnosis, it was one more reason among many to keep showing up for this cause.

So this collection was born: each scent named for a small, familiar moment from the school day, because that's the world I know and love, and because childhood should be full of ordinary, wonderful moments like these. Every bar carries a touch of orange, the color of leukemia awareness, as a quiet reminder of why this collection exists.

We donate upfront to ABC4Maddy. Every bar you bring home helps us recoup what we've already given, and lets us keep giving like this going forward.

Some of these bars are brand new, poured just for this collection, only 14 bars of each. Two — Snow Day and Outside Recess — are much-loved scents from a previous run, and supplies are very limited. Available only while supplies last.
